Today’s breaking news: the AVALON LOST audiobook edition, beautifully narrated by Zephyr Thomas, is now available on Amazon, Apple, and Audible!!!

The Avalon Lost audiobook actually enjoyed a “silent” release (pun intended) on March 28, 2025. One month later, I am actively promoting the audiobook to ye lads and lassies!
Why the delay in sharing the good news?
Three excellent reasons:
Quality Assurance. My narrator Zephyr Thomas worked tirelessly for many weeks to produce a high-quality, crisply narrated audiobook experience. Once completed, the audiobook spent several weeks going through ACX’s quality assurance process. Lastly, I chose the final week of April to promote the fruits of our labor.
Easter Promotion. I wanted to introduce the new audiobook during the Easter season, since many in my audience gave up social media platforms for Lent.
Summer Listening List. With summer fast-approaching, now’s a great time to select an adventurous audiobook (such as Avalon Lost) for a summer road trip!
Note: Make sure to listen to the 5-minute recording at the start of this post. It is a sample chapter from the audiobook, titled “Chapter 6: The Left-handed Warrior”. Stay tuned for more audio clips later this week! :)
Why did we create an audiobook version?
The audiobook makes the story accessible to a wider audience. This audiobook was especially created for the working dads, daily commuters, and audiobook lovers who have been asking me for a recorded version of the book. Also, many people prefer listening to books, rather than reading them. Now those readers can enjoy Avalon Lost, too!
The audiobook provides a new and unique experience of the book. Listening to Avalon Lost is a completely different experience from reading Avalon Lost. The pacing of the story, the variety of Scottish, Welsh, and British accents, and the emotional impact of the book are all powerfully conveyed in Zephyr Thomas’ narration.
The audiobook version goes deeper. The audiobook captures many of the story’s nuances that readers may have missed in the written version. Also, I only know one way to write a story: layered and deep. The audiobook uncovers new layers of meaning in the book. How fun is that? :D
Thanks so much for reading and listening. Hope you enjoy! ❤️&⚔️
